Clayton, Samuel.

(1777–1853) Australian | Irish | Male

(brother of Robert CLAYTON). Worked: Australia (NSW).

In January 1831 Samuel clayton advertised that he intended to retire from all business and sell stock in trade and materials. These included a large quantity of Frankfort black copper-plate printing ink, 'a brass machine for taking profile likenesses and a Camera obscura'. [SMH, 8 January 1831, page 1].
