The SLNSW describes this as a proof before letters of the lithograph 'Lansdowne Bridge over Prospect Creek near Liverpool' by Charles Rodius. This can not be so, The 1st state of this print (NLA), already has artist and imprint details. This print has the correction of 'Height' to 'Span' found in the 2nd state. It is probably a pirated edition. The image and text have probably been traced, the landscape is more schematic and letters in text vary from original. [Roger Butler, 2024]
