Forged Notes. - We call the attention of the public to an advertisement in another part of this paper, respecting a number of forgeries on the Bank of New South Wales which are in circulation. About a dozen were detected at the Bank yesterday, purporting to be signed by Richard Jones and Robert Wardell, Esquires. They are not engraved, but lithographed; and so clumsily executed, that the imposition may be easily detected, by the exercise of ordinary care in examining them. The up-country people ought lo be particularly on their guard, as there is reason to suppose that great numbers of the forged notes have been conveyed into the interior for circulation.
