Abstract
The first view mentioned was by Charles Rodius. The second view has yet to be identified.Full text
A splendid panoramic view of Sydney was some time back taken, and sent to England. A highly finished drawing has also been recently taken from the mill at the end of Macquarie-street, and goes to London by the Florentia to be lithographed. A happier spot for such a view, commanding at once the beauteous scenery of the Botanic Garden and Domain; the Harbour, with its distant Heads ; the Cove, with its opposite rocks; the Military Barrack, Churches, Court-houses, and Town in general, could not be selected.
