COURT OF CRIMINAL JURISDICTION – On Wednesday the Sessions commenced; and the usual forms being gone through, the Court adjourned to
THURSDAY; one Walter Preston and Mary Baker were indicted for stealing various articles of stationery, the property of the Crown, on the 20th of September last. Preston, acquitted. Mary Baker, guilty – 12 months to Newcastle.
