LITHOGRAPHY. — It is our duty and pleasure to encourage native talent wherever it is meritorious, and we confess we were not only pleased but astonished at the specimens of proficiency in the art of lithographical drawing exhibited to us the other day, by a very young but promising artist, Mr. Edward Winstanley, of Pitt-street, who is now publishing a series of crayon and coloured sketches of the ' Five Dock Steeple Chase.' They are executed in a very handsome and spirited style, and we trust the lovers of the Turf and the sporting world generally, will come forward and patronise this first genuine colonial attempt at the pictorial record of their favourite sport.
