Production notes
The lithographs that Charles Blackman produced at the Melbourne Technical College (now RMIT University) in 1953 were not editioned and there is no contemporaneous record of their titles. In 1984 Blackman employed Larry Rawling to reproduce a number of these lithographs (9) as photo-screenprints. Virtually the same size as the originals, each was published titled, signed and numbered in an edition of 75. The 1953 and 1984 publications are often conflated. The title assigned to this work is descriptive. [Roger Butler, 27 June 2026]
