Production notes
In 1835 Austin advertised that he had just published two prints: 'Southhead Lighthouse' and 'Monument to the memory of La Perouse'. This print appears to be the one advertised in 1835, but its imprint gives Austin at George street where he removed to in 22 April 1837 after dissolving his partnership with Fernyhough. There is an impression of 'Monument to the memory of La Perouse' with the same imprint. It is probable that these are the same works republished with new address. The 1835 advertisement noted that the print was available with or without hand-colouring, 'Coloured 2s., Plain 1s, each'
