Production notes

My research examines the aesthetics and utility of new technologies and how scientific thought has influenced contemporary art practice. 'Creaturepede' results from my experiments with miniature plastic animals. I examined and processed this creature in Photoshop, enlarging it from its original length of three centimetres. This magnification gives this creature a sense of life and authenticity, challenging our position as observer.
