Abstract

Come Hither Noise presents a range of contemporary approaches to sound, music and noise. With an emphasis on heightening perception of one’s own senses, the works explore the relationship between the aural, visual and spacial; and between sound and colour. The exhibition includes works by Mark Brown, John Conomos, Richard Crow, Ross Manning, Thomas Meadowcroft, Elvis Richardson, Sam Smith and Sriwhana Spong. Curator: Jasmin Stephens. Presented as part of the 9th Totally Huge New Music Festival in association with Tura New Music, 10-20 September. [Gallery media, 2009].
