Biography

John MORIARTY
 
John Moriarty was born into the Yanuwa tribe at Booroloola 80 kms south of the Gulf of Carpentaria, Northern Territory. He has studied at Flinders University in South Australia, and has a BA in Anthropology and Linguistics, and was winner of a Churchill fellowship. He is a Director of the South Australian Office of Aboriginal Affairs and worked in Canberra at the Department of Aboriginal Affairs.
