Biography

 Monica Schmid was born in Vienna in 1939. She studied at the Institute of Textile Industry (Vienna) 1953-57, and the Academy of Applied Art (Vienna). In Australia she studied at Prahran College of Advanced Education (Melbourne) 1979-81. Fist group exhibition in Australia 1981.
