Biography

DAVID BURROWS, born 1950, first exhibited 1976 Screenprint David is a Brisbane based artist and screenprinter with a background in photography and graphic art. He has an interest in Japanese culture, specifically the traditions of woodblock printing. In screenprinting he emulates much of the practices and appearances of woodblock prints with regard to subject matter, composition and the use of the black 'key block' which ties the design together.
