Biography

Daughter of William and Charlotte Bothroyd. [mothers name Ballarat Star, 3 May 1924].

After a number of local exhibitions travelled to the United States in 1927 to visit her married sister. Then planned to travel to England. Her father lived in England from 1930, mother from 1934, perhaps she stayed with them [perhaps never returned]

1934 William, Charlotte, and Leila Bothroyd and brother Thomas Carlyle at West Drayton, England.

1956 Leila Bothroyd, 52 Somerset Way, Buckingham Shire South, England. Thomas C. Bothroyd at same address. Thomas died in England. Neither married.
