Biography

Rodriquez Pty Ltd,  
John Rodriquez trained at the Royal Melbourne Technical College as an industrial designer and first worked as a textile designer for Ailsa Graham Art Fabrics, Fitzroy, Melboure.
 
In July 1954 John Rodriquez founded Rodriquez Fabrics, specializing in hand-printed furnishing fabrics, most of which he designed himself.
 
In 1972 a private company was formed trading under the current name, and table napery featuring Australian motifs has become the firm's major product.
