Biography

Frank Watters
 
Frank Watters was born at Muswellbrook, New South Wales on 28 March 1934. In 1964 he opened the Watters Gallery, in Sydney specializing in avant-garde Australian art. From 1978 Frank Watters was involved with the environmental movement attempt to prevent the expansion of power generators in the Hunter Valley, NSW as a result of which he organized the community to mount the Upper Hunter Valley Environmental Exhibition.
