Biography

Peter ARCHILL.

Peter Archill, whose tribal name is Narawangi, was born at Moolabulla Station, Halls Creek, Western Australia, on 28 January 1954. After growing up in the Broome and Beagle Bay area he moved to Cairns in 1986 to study for an Associate Diploma in Art at the Cairns Technical and Further Education, for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islanders. After completing the two year Access Course he continued as a full time art student at the Cairns Art Centre.
