Biography

Vain Extremities
 
Established in Melbourne in 1981, Vain Extremities, a business partnership formed by Rose Borg and Peter Bainbridge, was moved to Darlinghurst, Sydney in July 1985, where Vain Extremities Gallery was opened in May 1988. Their work has been in several exhibitions including Artknits in 1988 at the Art Gallery of New South Wales. They have worked on costume design for theatre and film and in May 1987 received a Crafts Board of the Australia Council Project Grant.
 
Peter Bainbridge was born on 9 February 1961 and Rose Borg in 1962.
