The Geelong Gallery exhibition More than a Memory, the art of Elizabeth Parsons opened on 10 April 2004. Parsons, one of the first professional artists to work in Victoria, was both a successful exhibitor of watercolours and drawings, and teacher. In 1882 she published two volumes titled Drawing book of Australian landscape, each illustrated with eight lithographed images. The exhibition is accompanied by a comprehensive catalogue by Veronica Filmer.
