Abstract

Clint became a seal-engraver in 1835 in Sydney. Designed and engraved the first signed armorial book-plates produced in New South Wales.  Reference to John Allen an apprentice of Raphael Clint. Notes that John Carmichael was an assistant to Raphael Clint.
