Biography

Barbara Rees
Barbara Rees was born in Sydney in 1946. After gaining a Bachelor of Arts Degree from the University of Sydney in 1968, she trained with Wal Van Heeckeren in 1969, David Dunne in 1970, and from 1971 to 1973 was apprenticed to Georg Jensen, Denmark. She gained a Crafts Board of the Australia Council Special Projects Grant in 1975, and in 1976 a Master/Apprentice Grant.
