Tony White, Sydney
 
Antony Stephen White was born in Sydney on 27 April 1942. He formally trained in architecture, graduating from Sydney University in 1965. He then practised as an architect for five years in both Sydney and Melbourne. During this time he became interested in jewellery. He has had no training as a jeweller, apart from informal guidance from Royston Lewis in the early years. In 1971 White began working full-time as a jeweller. He has travelled extensively in Africa, Asia, Europe and America.
